About Motili
Motili’s extraordinary journey began in the unassuming town of Binghamton, NY. From these humble origins, Motili has soared to incredible heights, establishing offices not only in Binghamton, NY but also in the dynamic cities of Denver, Colorado, and Bangkok, Thailand.
Our transformation truly took flight when Motili was acquired by Daikin Comfort Technologies. At that time, we were valued at less than $20 million. However, this year marks an awe-inspiring milestone as we celebrate our rapid ascent, edging ever closer to an astonishing $200 million in valuation. As a proud member of the Daikin family, we now stand as a global organization.
The Daikin story is one that ignites inspiration. Founded in 1924 with a mere 15 employees, the company initially focused on manufacturing aircraft engine cooling parts and radiator tubes. From these modest beginnings, Daikin’s trajectory mirrors our own in its remarkable growth and evolution.
Guided by our rich history and fueled by the limitless possibilities of the future, Motili is unwavering in our commitment to reach new heights and transcend the boundaries of what’s possible.

Management Focus
People-Centered Management
People-centered management (PCM) is a leadership approach that emphasizes the importance of valuing and prioritizing the well-being and development of employees within an organization. This management style is grounded in the belief that when employees feel respected, supported, and engaged, they are more likely to be productive, innovative, and committed to their work. By focusing on the needs and aspirations of employees, PCM seeks to create a positive work environment that fosters collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
One of the key principles of people-centered management is effective communication. Managers who practice PCM prioritize open, honest, and transparent communication with their team members. This involves actively listening to employees’ concerns, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging open dialogue. By maintaining clear and consistent communication, managers can build strong relationships with their employees, which can lead to increased job satisfaction and reduced turnover rates.

Another important aspect of PCM is the focus on employee development and growth. People-centered managers invest in their employees’ professional development by providing opportunities for training, mentoring, and career advancement. This not only helps employees enhance their skills and knowledge but also demonstrates that the organization values their contributions and is committed to their long-term success. By supporting employees’ growth, managers can foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Employee recognition and appreciation are also central to people-centered management. Recognizing and rewarding employees for their hard work and achievements can boost morale and motivation. This can be done through formal recognition programs, such as employee of the month awards, or through informal gestures, such as verbal praise and thank-you notes. By acknowledging employees’ efforts and accomplishments, managers can create a positive and supportive work environment that encourages employees to perform at their best.

Work-life balance is another critical component of PCM. People-centered managers understand that employees have personal lives and responsibilities outside of work. They strive to create flexible work arrangements that allow employees to balance their professional and personal commitments. This can include offering flexible working hours, remote work options, and generous leave policies. By promoting work-life balance, managers can help reduce employee stress and burnout, leading to higher levels of job satisfaction and overall well-being.

Finally, people-centered management involves fostering a sense of community and belonging within the organization. Managers can achieve this by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and inclusivity. Creating opportunities for employees to connect and build relationships with their colleagues can enhance their sense of belonging and loyalty to the organization. By cultivating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, people-centered managers can ensure that employees feel valued and connected, ultimately contributing to the organization’s success.
